After my last Snow story finishing with a statement saying that the forecast had said Newquay would escape any further snow falls, the obvious happened!

Newquay Cornwall wakes up to snow 28th November 2010
At 1am this morning I noticed it was starting to snow and by 7am when my children woke up we opened the curtains to find about an inch of snow covering Newquay. Probably not enough to cause any widespread problems but just in case you can find out the Council's guidelines on dealing with snow and ice on my previous story here
At the moment we have clear skies and no signs of further snow fall but as always Newquaypeople will keep you up to date with the latest news as it happens!
