Newquay school spending cuts!

Newquay schools have avoided the spending cuts so far, but in the first round of government cut backs many schools/colleges in Cornwall have already had building work and budgets stopped, the following have all been affected:

Penryn College Open (09/2008)

Camborne Science and Community College Stopped PFI

Humphry Davy School Stopped

Poltair School Stopped

Pool Business and Enterprise College Stopped

Redruth School Stopped

Did anyone remember voting for a V.A.T. increase? Did anyone choose to vote for someone because they promised to cut back on School spending? Did anyone who voted to get a fairer voting system expect a whoever gets the most votes system rather than the complicated very similar to now system they are talking about?
