Mexican Cantina
Hot and spicy baby!!
Anyone else eaten at the Mexican Cantina? I'd only eaten at the other Mexican in town so was keen to try some where new. Me, i have loads of allergies and am a vegetarian so finding tasty food which doesn't include anything that will make me ill is sometimes a mission, especially at a Mexican as i can't eat peppers. I thought the vegetarian options for starters included a good selection of choices but felt slightly limiting on choice when it came to the mains. With only one fish choice and no meat alternatives such as quorn, tofu etc it's either vegetables or cheese and onion which go with the dishes. All in all though a good meal, which came out in good time, with friendly staff and mojitos to die for!!! The place really does have a party atmosphere so would be great for a hen/stag do and my friends who are all meat eaters cleared their plates as they said the food was great, so if you're a veggie not the best place in the world but if you're a meat eater definitely one to check out !!!

Great restaurant. Love the feel of this place. The food and drinks bill can run a bit high but if you are having a special occassion the food is really good and worth the money. Also do takeaways but it is a lovely place to sit and eat. Located at the Great Western end of town.
