Myself and my family often visit Bay Tree and are never disappointed! The food is always plentiful and delicious, with large portions usually served with a fresh side salad. The deserts are, however, the best part, and there are many to choose from! I recommend the banoffee pie which is better in Bay Tree than anywhere else I've tried. They also do breakfast every day until about 11:30 which is very popular. It is in a convenient place with a fruit shop, pet shop and garden centre just next door. I would recommend to anybody!

The Bay Tree Restaurant offers customers a warm and friendly service when visiting our spacious restaurant.
On our extensive menu, everything is homemade, we specialise in homemade traditional cuisine that's even better than your mum used to make!
We even have a license and sell a small selection of wines, so visit us and relax at any time of the day.

ReportHaving tired of Starbucks and the Costa coffees of this world it was great to come across a local restaurant that served fresh local Cornish produce, free car parking and a relaxing atmosphere with the added bonus of a decent free unlimited wi fi connection. The Bay Tree Restaurant is ideally positioned next to the Goonhavern Garden Centre in between Newquay and Truro, my intended snack (just a panini) was freshly prepared rather than pre wrapped and turned out to be a substantial meal with side salad and crisps. The coffee was far better than the production line stuff from the american invaders. All in all a better experience than anything Chiverton roundabout could offer.

Today I came into Newquay and stumbled across a Restaurant which not only had access to WI FI but sold the most delicious food, the jacket potato was soft and flavoursome and the tuna filling fresh and light, the side salad was very fresh and crisp, I did not dare the cakes they looked fantastic, maybe next time when off the diet, this REstaurant is well worth a visit.
When you walk into this restaurant, you instantly get the feel of a nice little country cafe. There is a lot of seating, despite the small size. The food served is very nice and the portions are generous, but the menu can feel a little limited. I recommend the Chocolate Paradise cake for desert!
