£15,000 fines for engineers over Great Western Hotel death safety breach

Philip Hodge and Jonathan Mingo have been ordered to pay up to £15,000 in fines and court costs after Frederick Jackson, 52, from Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, died at the Great Western Hotel in April 2008.

 

Philip Hodge, 49, was fined £2,000 and will pay £2,550 costs. Jonathan Mingo, 37, was fined £5,000 at Truro Crown Court. He was also ordered to pay £5,000 in court costs.
