Valentines in Newquay 2012

Where are the best places to romance your loved one this Valentines in Newquay? 

Love is in the air for Valentines 2012 and here at NewquayPeople HQ we have had a little think about the local restaurants you can take the love of your life too to celebrate this romantic date. 

Clearly - even with our brains we may have missed a couple of prime locations out so feel free to comment and let us know! 

1 - Lewinnick Lodge. Nestled above the cliffs of Pentire Headland, looking out across the mighty Atlantic, The Lewinnick Lodge has probably one of the best coastal views anywhere in the county. Serving modern British food with an emphasis on fresh fish, the Lodge has long been established as the premier location to enjoy fine Cornish fare and hospitality - and with that view - where better than to wine and dine the special person in your life? 

2 - Little Italy. A pizza place may not seem like the first option when considering places to take your sweetheart for Valentines 2012 but this Newquay gem is one of the most romantic settings in town. With it's quaint decor and fantastic staff, any lass would love a quiet and personal experience at the towns award-winning pizzeria. 

3 - The Maharajah. For a spicy night with some fiery food thrown in, The Maharajah is possibly one of the most splendid Indian eateries in the UK. The décor is sumptuous and modern, the view is breathtaking, the lounge is amazing and of course the food has always been a cut above - perfect for a Valentines with an Eastern European feel. 

4 - The Bay Hotel. Ok so it is not strictly a restaurant but the Bay Hotel has pulled out all the stops for Valentines 2012. …they have picked up on all the  the classic Valentine gestures which is why they have put together a beautiful romantic package. The full shebang consists of accommodation in the 4* hotel, complete with full English breakfast, complimentary use of the Fistral Spa facilities and a romantic dinner in our Bay View Restaurant. To make it extra special and to finish your visit off with a special touch they are also happy to arrange for flowers, champagne, chocolates and strawberries to be placed in your room on arrival! Ohhh la la! 

5 - Porth Veor Manor. With views across the stunning Porth beach, this Manor has a Valentines menu to rival all others up its sleeve for Valentines 2012 in Newquay. The Beaucliffes restaurant has Velvet lobster bisque, Silky duck liver and port pâté, Garlic mushroom, spinach and parmesan tart, Char-grilled Cornish fillet steak, Roasted Monkfish tail, strawberry Valentino, Decadent dark chocolate crème brûlée as just some of the delicious options for visiting sweethearts.
